Heat 1 tbsp olive oil and 4 tbsp unsalted butter in a large skillet over medium heat until the butter is melted and sizzling.
Add 3 cloves of minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
Add 1 pound of peeled and deveined shrimp to the skillet. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until the shrimp turn pink and curl into a "C" shape.
Squeeze in 2 tbsp of fresh lemon juice and toss to coat the shrimp evenly.
Sprinkle 2 tbsp of chopped parsley over the shrimp and serve immediately. Pair with your favorite sides like rice, pasta, or salad.
